A computer can be rebooted using either hard boot or soft boot. A hard boot can be done by shutting the computer off or disconnecting the power and turning it back on. A soft boot on the other hand requires you to press a sequence of keys to reset the computer like Ctrl+Alt+Del or just by pressing the reset button.
