How much does a diamond cost?

Many different factors go into the cost of a diamond. Always remember the three C's of diamonds: Cut, color, and clarity, as well as size. These factors pretty much determine the quality of the diamond. A colorless diamond would be much more expensive than a diamond that has a slight yellow or brown tint. A higher quality, yet smaller diamond is often much more expensive than a low quality, but larger diamond. Depending on the size and the characteristics of the diamond, you can purchase them anywhere from a few hundred dollars, up into the hundreds of thousands (or even more!)

The cost of a diamond will vary greatly depending on the diamond you choose. The 3 Cs typically determine the value of a diamond; cut, clarity and color. You can have 2 one carat diamonds and one may be worth $500 while the other is worth $5,000. Talk to you jeweler to find the diamond that is right for you. A diamond doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be perfect for you.
