It is not very hard to do. Simply pull the strings through the holes on the body of the guitar, then tighten with the keys at the top of the neck. It is good to see it done. Here is a website that has a link for restringing, and a tool for tuning when you are finished.

You change your guitar strings by removing and replacing the old strings with new ones. Use a string winder and needle-nose pliers. Be careful when removing the old strings. Clean the area by the bridge where the strings laid. Replace with new guitar strings. Be sure not to make new strings too tight or they could break.
